FineCrest Atelier

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior experience?

No. Our beginner courses assume zero experience and start with handbuilding fundamentals, safe studio habits, and clear benchmarks.

Are materials included?

Many beginner and intermediate classes include clay and shared tools. Advanced courses may require specific clays or tools listed in the course page.

What online options do you offer?

We provide live online sessions with multi-camera demos, recorded replays for a limited time, and downloadable checklists.

How clean is the studio environment?

We operate with a clinic-clean mindset: labeled tool zones, sanitizer access points, HEPA filtration, and posted cleaning logs.

Can I reschedule if something comes up?

Yes. Reschedules are free if requested 7+ days before the start date. Within 7 days, we’ll try to accommodate based on seat availability.

Do you offer private or group sessions?

We host private lessons and group workshops for teams and schools. Contact us with your group size and goals.

How do I know which level to choose?

Read the outcomes listed in each course. If you can reliably center, pull even walls, and trim a foot, you are ready for intermediate wheel classes.

Do you fire outside work?

We prioritize student work. Outside firing may be offered when kilns have capacity, following our glaze and cone policies.

Is there parking and accessibility?

Street parking is available nearby. Our studio entrance is accessible; please email us for specific accommodations.
